Welcome to The Nook Hotel. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our hotel services, facilities, website, and any bookings made with us. By making a reservation or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before booking.

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• "Hotel" or "We" refers to The Nook Hotel, its owners, management, and staff
• "Guest" or "You" refers to any person making a reservation or staying at the hotel
• "Services" includes accommodation, dining, spa, and all other facilities and amenities provided by the hotel
• "Reservation" means a confirmed booking for accommodation at the hotel

Reservations and Bookings

Booking Confirmation

A reservation is confirmed only when you receive a booking confirmation from us via email or other written communication. The confirmation will include your reservation details, room type, rates, check-in and check-out dates, and any special requests.

Minimum Age Requirement

Guests must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation and check in. Valid government-issued photo identification must be presented upon check-in.

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during booking is accurate and complete. This includes guest names, contact details, special requests, and payment information. We are not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate information.

Room Availability

All bookings are subject to room availability. We reserve the right to decline reservations at our discretion. In the event that your requested room type is unavailable, we will offer a comparable alternative or full refund.

Payment Terms

Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified during booking. Payment information must be valid and authorized for use.

Deposits and Prepayment

Depending on the rate plan selected, a deposit or full prepayment may be required at the time of booking. Non-refundable rates require full payment in advance and cannot be cancelled or modified.

Additional Charges

Rates quoted are for accommodation only unless otherwise stated. Additional charges may apply for services such as room service, minibar, spa treatments, laundry, parking, and other amenities. All charges will be itemized on your final bill.

Currency and Taxes

All rates are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) unless otherwise specified. Applicable taxes, service charges, and government fees will be added to your final bill as required by law.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Standard Cancellation

For flexible rate bookings, cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will be charged for one night's accommodation.

Non-Refundable Rates

Bookings made at non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded under any circumstances. Payment is collected in full at the time of booking.

No-Shows

Guests who fail to check in without prior cancellation (no-shows) will be charged for the full length of their reservation and no refund will be provided.

Group Bookings

Special cancellation policies apply to group bookings (5 or more rooms). These terms will be communicated separately and may vary from standard policies.

Check-In and Check-Out

Standard Times

Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Identification Required

Valid government-issued photo identification and the credit card used for booking must be presented upon check-in. We reserve the right to refuse check-in if proper identification cannot be provided.

Security Deposit

A security deposit or credit card authorization may be required at check-in to cover incidental charges. This will be refunded or released upon checkout after inspection of the room.

Late Check-Out

Late check-out after 12:00 PM may be available subject to room availability. Charges apply as follows: until 3:00 PM - 50% of room rate; after 3:00 PM - full room rate.

Guest Conduct and Responsibilities

Behavior Standards

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner and not disturb other guests. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask guests to leave without refund for disruptive behavior, damage to property, illegal activities, or violation of hotel policies.

Maximum Occupancy

Each room has a maximum occupancy limit as specified at booking. Additional guests beyond the stated capacity are not permitted without prior arrangement and may incur extra charges.

Smoking Policy

The Nook Hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor areas. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Violations will result in a cleaning fee of 5,000 THB.

Pets

Pets are not permitted at the hotel unless specifically authorized in advance as part of our pet-friendly program. Service animals are always welcome with proper documentation.

Liability and Damages

Hotel Liability

While we take reasonable care to ensure guest safety and security, the hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are encouraged to use in-room safes for valuables. We recommend obtaining travel insurance for comprehensive coverage.

Guest Liability

Guests are liable for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay, whether caused by themselves, their guests, or members of their party. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the payment method on file.

Force Majeure

The hotel is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, epidemics, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Nook Hotel or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

Website Use and Restrictions

When using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code that could damage our systems
• Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Use automated systems to access the website without our written permission

Third-Party Services

Our hotel may offer access to third-party services, websites, or applications for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and conditions.

Dispute Resolution

Complaints

If you have any complaints or concerns during your stay, please notify our front desk immediately so we can address the issue. We are committed to resolving problems promptly and fairly.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your stay at the hotel shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We recommend reviewing these terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
